With the new AC6 flowforming rims, AC Schnitzer presents the next generation of exclusive wheel technology for the high-performance models BMW M2 (G87), BMW M3 sedan (G80) and Touring (G81) as well as BMW M4 Coupé (G82) and Convertible (G83).

The design of the one-piece AC6 flow-formed rims combines delicate lightness with a powerful presence. Characteristic features are the dynamically shaped, slim Y-spokes, which extend to the rim edge, visually enlarging the diameter. Particularly striking is the distinctive concave bowl shape, which, with a depth of up to 80 mm on the rear axle, ensures a spectacular appearance and impressively underlines the sportiness of the M models. This depth is not only a technical statement, but also a visual commitment to uncompromising performance.

The flowforming process is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies in the wheel industry. In this production process, the raw product is further processed after the actual aluminium casting by rolling it out. This step serves to compact the metal, which guarantees greater stability and impact resistance of the rim. On the other hand, the improved stability also allows for a more delicate rim design, as the wall thicknesses are significantly thinner than those of conventionally manufactured rims. At the same time, the thinner wall thicknesses reduce the unsprung masses and gyroscopic forces on the axles, which improves driving dynamics.

Customers can choose between silver and black finishes, each of which emphasises the striking design in different ways. In black, the rims look particularly aggressive and motorsport-inspired, while the silver version combines elegance with sporty lightness.

The new flowforming version expands the AC6 design family: while the AC6 Lightweight Forged rims were developed exclusively for the BMW M5 models (G90, G99), AC Schnitzer is now extending the range with the AC6 flowforming rims for the sporty M2, M3 and M4 models. Both rim types share the same distinctive design language, technical precision and visual dynamism. This makes the AC Schnitzer AC6 rim family a symbol of exclusivity and performance – tailor-made for the most powerful BMW models.
